Medication At School

The teaching staff are not expected to supervise students on medication.  This is clearly a student/parent responsibility.

Where possible, medication should be administered by parents prior to the student coming to school or by the parent visiting the school during the day. If this is not possible and medication is to be administered, a Student Medication Request Form is required to be completed, prior to staff involvement. Telephone requests cannot be made. These forms are available at the office and the teacher need to be notified.

If a child is ill – they should not be at school.
